Abstract Submission Guidelines – ESWW 2026
To submit an abstract for ESWW 2026, please follow the steps below. Detailed instructions are provided for each step within the submission platform.
Submission Procedure
- Open the submission platform and follow the registration procedure. Once your data have been submitted, you will be redirected to the registration and submission area.
- Click on the “Submit an Abstract” icon.
- Select the preferred type of contribution. Abstracts may be submitted for:
- Panelist Communication
- Oral Communication
- Poster Presentation
Please note:

- The Panelist option should be selected only if you wish to propose yourself or have been invited to participate as a panelist in plenary sessions (PL1 or PL2);
- The Oral option should be selected if you intend to submit an oral contribution or have received an invitation for an oral presentation in parallel sessions;
- The Poster option should be selected if you wish to submit a poster contribution to plenary and/or parallel sessions.
- Enter the names and affiliations of all authors and indicate the presenting author. If your abstract includes more than 10 authors, you may upload a PDF file on the final page containing the full list of authors and affiliations. Click “Continue.”
- Select the session (code and title) to which you wish to submit your abstract and define the relevant keywords. Click “Continue.”
- Provide your abstract details:
- Title (maximum 250 characters, including spaces)
- Description (maximum 2000 characters, including spaces)
Please note that copying and pasting text from external files may affect the character count.
Important Notes
- Please ensure that you meet the session submission deadline. Submissions received after the deadline will not be accepted.

- In the “View submitted information” section of the submission platform, you can modify your abstracts until the submission deadline, but you cannot delete them. If you wish to proceed with abstract permanent removal, you must submit a written request to: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
- The session conveners will review all submissions and inform you of the outcome in due course.
- Registration of the presenting author will be required upon acceptance of the abstract.
- All participants attending the conference, whether in person or online, are required to pay the registration fee unless a waiver has been granted by the Local Organizing Committee.
