The conference will take place at Palazzo dei Congressi, inside the 19th-century Villa Vittoria, surrounded by a beautiful historic park. It is in the heart of the city, close to the Duomo and Ponte Vecchio, offering a perfect blend of history, elegance, and technology. The venue is very easy to reach: just a few minutes’ walk from Santa Maria Novella Station and the Florence International Airport is only about 7 km away. The venue features a 1,000-seat Auditorium with several meeting rooms, equipped with modern comforts and facilities, and large foyer areas for exhibitions, poster sessions, and networking.

A bit of history: Villa Vittoria was built between 1886 and 1891 by Gerolamo Passeri, a pupil of architect Giuseppe Poggi, on commission from Marquis Massimiliano degli Strozzi. The beautiful Belvedere—a room with a 360° view of the city—was added in 1925. A monumental staircase connects the ground floor to the main floor, leading to a gallery. The rooms retain their original charm: lunette vaults on the ground floor and finely decorated coffered ceilings on the first floor; mosaic floors in marble and terracotta; stone portals with marble inlays; elegant coats of arms; finely wrought-iron gates; and precious polychrome stained-glass windows. The name Villa Vittoria derives from the Counts Contini-Bonacossi, who acquired it in 1931.
